About Small Steps & Coffee

I make espresso and lattes at home on a Breville Barista Express. I weigh the beans, use a WDT tool to distribute the grounds, and reach for a spring-loaded tamper because judging a precise tamping force by feel is hard.

Consistency is the starting point: keep the dose and preparation repeatable, then use taste to decide what to change. My usual dose is 18 grams, with room to adjust for the basket and the coffee.

Small Steps & Coffee brings that interest in coffee together with everyday routines and life with ADHD. You'll find explanations of the steps, practical arrangements to try, and a place to remember what you liked.

There's no perfect morning routine to copy here. Take a useful idea, adapt it to your equipment and your day, and leave room for the next experiment.
